Job Summary
As a (Lead) Systems Engineer at LRE Medical, you will play a pivotal role in the development of sophisticated optical and electrochemical analysis systems for medical diagnostics. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve creating system architectures, defining interfaces, and conducting feasibility studies for complex laboratory equipment. You will lead interdisciplinary teams across mechanics, electronics, and software, ensuring seamless integration of drives, temperature control, liquid handling, and sensor technology. A significant portion of the role involves requirements engineering and maintaining rigorous documentation standards in compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 regulations. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Physics, Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
Experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience in systems engineering or a related field
- Extensive experience in the regulated medical or diagnostic application sector
- Proven experience in project coordination and leading interdisciplinary teams
- Professional background in designing In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) devices under ISO 13485 or FDA standards
- Experience in creating technical documentation and test specifications
Languages
Additional
- The role requires knowledge of IVDR and FDA regulatory frameworks. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Munich and coordinate with external service providers and customers.
