Job Summary
As an IT Specialist for a leading international automotive supplier in Steinheim am Albuch, you will play a critical role in maintaining the technological backbone of a high-tech manufacturing facility. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating network-connected PCs on the production line, managing data gateways, and administering user roles and permissions across various systems. You will provide comprehensive support ranging from 1st-level troubleshooting for Microsoft desktop environments to complex 2nd and 3rd-level support involving server virtualization, storage, and backups. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a technology leader specializing in aluminum components for premium vehicle brands. You will be part of a 500-employee team, ensuring the stability of both Windows and Linux/Unix server environments while supporting mobile device management (MDM) and OEM portals. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in system administration within complex IT environments
- Experience in programming or software development
- Professional experience in administering Citrix environments and Linux servers
- Experience with ERP database server administration
- Proven experience in technical troubleshooting and error analysis
