Job Summary
This is a high-level leadership position within the Ludwigslust-Parchim district administration in Parchim, Germany. As the Head of Facility Management and Central Services, you will be responsible for the strategic, economic, and organizational management of the department. Your primary focus will be establishing a modern facility management system, ensuring compliance with owner and operator obligations, and implementing the district's 2030 development concept (KEK 2030). You will lead a team of direct reports, manage occupational health and safety, and represent the department in district committees. This permanent, full-time role (Grade E 15 TVöD) offers a unique opportunity to shape public infrastructure with a focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, and customer orientation. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or equivalent (scientific university degree) in Business Administration, Administrative Sciences, Law, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the construction sector or facility management (for business/law graduates)
- Professional experience in business administration (for engineering/construction graduates)
- Proven experience in leadership and personnel management
- Experience in developing and implementing organizational concepts and guidelines
- Experience in public administration or committee representation is preferred
