Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing electrical components for automated storage and retrieval machines as well as conveyor technology. Your daily responsibilities include creating electrical schematics using EPLAN, conducting on-site inventory assessments, and overseeing the implementation of electrical designs at customer locations. You will be responsible for component procurement, project documentation in compliance with CE standards, and maintaining master data within the ERP system. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a blend of technical office work and field-based commissioning. Required Skills
Education
Certified Technician or Industrial Master (Industriemeister) specializing in Electrical/Automation Engineering or Mechatronics; alternatively, a University Degree in a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical design within an industrial environment is preferred.
- Experience in creating electrical schematics and execution documents using EPLAN.
- Practical experience in project management and interface management.
- Experience with safety standards, including the Machinery Directive and CE marking.
- Experience in leading on-site electrical construction and supporting commissioning.
