As an Application Manager at Sparda-Bank Berlin, you will be responsible for managing selected IT applications across diverse environments, including Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms. Your daily activities will involve overseeing the entire software lifecycle, from deployment and release management to configuration and continuous process improvement. You will act as the primary technical point of contact, providing second-level support and collaborating closely with business departments to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. This role is unique for its high degree of flexibility, offering up to 80% remote work and a 35-hour work week within a cooperative banking environment. Required Skills
Education
Degree in (Business) Informatics, a related discipline, or completed vocational training with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in a similar role or in the implementation of IT systems and applications
- Experience in managing the full IT Service Lifecycle (Strategy, Design, Transition, Operation, and Improvement)
- Experience in analyzing functional specifications and architectural descriptions
- Experience in test preparation and execution
- Professional experience in IT application management or a related technical field
