Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineering Technician in the shipbuilding sector, you will play a pivotal role in the lifecycle of maritime electrical systems. Your daily responsibilities include designing installation plans using E-PLAN, configuring and commissioning electrical systems for new ship builds, conversions, and repairs, and performing PLC programming. You will also be responsible for technical documentation, component selection, and coordinating with sub-suppliers and internal teams. This role is highly dynamic, offering the chance to work on diverse projects ranging from initial planning to on-site commissioning and troubleshooting. Required Skills
Education
Completed higher technical education (HTL in Electrical Engineering or University of Applied Sciences/FH degree).
Experience
- Several years of professional practice in plant engineering and construction
- Practical experience in planning and design using E-PLAN
- Demonstrated experience in commissioning electrical systems
- Proven experience in troubleshooting electrical systems and components
- Experience in technical coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Must be flexible regarding working hours and resilient under pressure. Position initially managed through a staffing agency with long-term prospects.
