Job Summary

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing the future of sustainable energy systems. You will be responsible for the independent development of AC concepts for photovoltaic systems, energy storage, charging infrastructure, and energy management systems. Your day-to-day will involve creating measurement, protection, and control concepts, ensuring compliance with VDE standards (4105 & 4110), and selecting critical main components like switch cabinets and routers. You will oversee grid connection applications, approve Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and perform complex cable calculations. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close interaction with sales, project management, and grid operators, while also serving as a mentor to junior engineers. What makes this position unique is the opportunity to work within a leading CleanTech unicorn, integrating hardware with AI-driven software to create a virtual power plant. You will directly contribute to the energy transition by helping 1.5 million households switch to renewable energy by 2030.
