Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician at GlobalFoundries in Dresden, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high availability and efficiency of state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing and resolving complex technical malfunctions within a high-tech cleanroom environment, performing scheduled preventive maintenance, and digitally documenting all repair activities. You will also serve as a technical mentor, coaching colleagues on recurring challenges. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field; alternatively, a qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in maintenance, electronics, or mechatronics
  • Experience working with complex high-tech machinery or industrial production equipment
  • Experience in fault analysis and technical troubleshooting
  • Experience in a cleanroom or semiconductor environment is preferred but not explicitly required
