This role offers a balanced mix of workshop-based activity and field service, with approximately 80% of the work performed at the company's main site and 20% involving international travel. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems and components. Your day-to-day tasks include building electrical units according to circuit diagrams, performing tests and commissioning, and troubleshooting technical faults both on-site and via remote maintenance. A significant part of the role involves working with PLC programs (SIMATIC S7) and updating technical documentation using E-Plan. This position is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract, flexible working hours via a flextime model without shift work, and a commitment to no weekend work for domestic assignments. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or a related field (e.g., Electrical Systems Fitter, Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Mechatronics Engineer, or Industrial Electrician).
Experience
- Professional experience in the maintenance and service of electrical systems is preferred
- Practical experience in building electrical components according to technical drawings and circuit diagrams
- Experience in adjusting PLC programs and performing technical error analysis
- Experience in creating and maintaining test and acceptance protocols
