Job Summary
As a System and Network Administrator at Stiftungsklinikum PROSELIS, you will play a vital role in maintaining the IT infrastructure for two major hospitals in Recklinghausen and Herten. Your daily responsibilities include the configuration, administration, and maintenance of a dual-site Microsoft Windows and VMware server environment. You will manage critical security solutions, oversee communication infrastructure—including LAN, WLAN, WAN, and VPN—and ensure data integrity through robust backup systems. The role involves integrating new hardware and software while providing essential 2nd-level support to resolve technical issues. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in a technical or information technology field, or completed vocational training in IT, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the IT sector
- Proven experience in Microsoft Windows Server administration including Active Directory
- Practical experience with VMware ESXi virtualization
- Demonstrated expertise in network infrastructure, routing, and security systems
- Experience in managing and maintaining backup solutions
