Job Summary

As an API Expert in the Quality Assurance Operations department at medac, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) synthesis. Your daily responsibilities include maintaining and developing the quality system for APIs, evaluating synthesis processes and critical starting materials, and managing quality management tools such as DEV, CC, CR, and CAPA. You will act as a mentor for colleagues in QA Operations and Corporate Strategic Procurement, while also conducting global supplier audits and supporting the identification of new API sources. This role is highly interdisciplinary, involving troubleshooting at production sites and international travel.
