Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position involves managing core accounting functions for AWO Unterfranken, a large social welfare organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB) standards. Key responsibilities include assisting with consolidated financial statements, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring high-quality closing processes. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or Taxes (e.g., Finance & Accounting) or a comparable qualification such as a Certified Management Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter).
Experience
- Professional experience in accounting with a focus on HGB financial statements
- Experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements is preferred
- Industry experience in the healthcare or nursing sector is an advantage
- Proven experience working with DATEV and high affinity for IT systems
- Experience in independent, structured, and solution-oriented work environments
