Job Summary
As the Head of Engineering & Projects at KOS KLIMA, you will hold a pivotal leadership role overseeing the entire plant engineering division. Your daily responsibilities involve the strategic assessment and approval of incoming projects, developing viable system concepts, and conducting feasibility and risk analyses. You will be operationally responsible for budgets, timelines, and quality standards, while managing project managers, team leads, and assembly crews. Beyond technical oversight, you will drive organizational growth by optimizing internal processes, KPIs, and resource planning. This position is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys a mix of technical complexity and entrepreneurial management. You will act as a key link between the technical teams and executive management, ensuring high customer satisfaction and professional project handovers. The role is distinguished by its high level of responsibility, direct reporting lines to the CEO, and a culture that values pragmatism and innovation.
Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician in Refrigeration Technology, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, a university degree with significant practical experience.
Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in plant engineering or ventilation technology
- Proven leadership experience within small to medium-sized organizational structures
- Extensive experience in project management including budget and quality responsibility
- Professional background in managing subcontractors and partners
- Experience in technical sales support for complex projects
