Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a high-tech research project in Kassel, focusing on innovative future technologies within the defense sector. As an Electrical Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement and optimization of existing systems, as well as the creation of new, complex FPGA designs using Xilinx technology. Your daily work involves developing drivers for Xilinx Ultrascale controller architectures using C for both bare-metal and Linux environments, with a specific focus on military video processing equipment. You will be integrated into the full development lifecycle, ensuring all documentation meets rigorous military standards. This position is ideal for those who enjoy cross-functional collaboration, as you will work closely with system engineering, hardware/software development, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
