Job Summary
This role is designed for a (Junior) Software Developer with a strong interest in DevOps to support the operation and evolution of integration and data solutions. You will be responsible for developing, configuring, and operating software components across the entire DevOps lifecycle, including building, deploying, and monitoring systems. A significant portion of the day-to-day work involves designing scalable data architectures and implementing automation to ensure high availability and performance. You will work extensively with EDI middleware (specifically Lobster) to consolidate data from diverse systems and external partners. This position is unique as it blends traditional software development with modern data engineering and system integration, offering the chance to optimize complex deployment processes and monitoring mechanisms. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field; alternatively, completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in software development and DevOps topics
- Experience in developing and operating software components throughout the full lifecycle
- Practical experience with SQL database management and querying
- Experience in C# and the .NET environment
- Experience with integration platforms such as Lobster or Oracle Service Bus is preferred
- Experience in implementing monitoring and logging mechanisms
