Job Summary
As a Construction Supervisor for Railway Construction at SWB Bus und Bahn, you will play a critical role in maintaining and expanding urban rail infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities involve a dynamic mix of field inspections and office-based coordination. You will be responsible for inspecting track systems, identifying maintenance needs, and supervising external contractors on construction sites to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will also support project management in meeting cost and schedule targets while coordinating closely with the control center for track closures and reopenings. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Track or Road Builder, or advanced qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Foreman (Polier).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in track construction, road construction, or station construction
- Proven experience in construction supervision and site management
- Professional experience in coordinating external companies and ensuring compliance with construction regulations
- Experience in project support including cost, schedule, and quality control
- Experience with nighttime, weekend, and holiday work shifts

- Valid Class B driver's license required (preferably BE or CE); must pass a medical fitness test for the role; readiness for on-call duty and shift work (nights/weekends); position is initially limited to a one-year contract.
