Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive maintenance and repair of production lines, focusing on electronic and pneumatic systems across locations in Lampertheim, Worms, and Mannheim. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of maintenance tasks, managing spare parts procurement, and maintaining detailed maintenance logs. A significant portion of the role involves technical troubleshooting and programming of PLC systems (S5/S7/Beckhoff) and HMI interfaces. Uniquely, this position requires working with hazardous substances, including performing heavy acid work while wearing full protective gear. You will also be involved in upgrading sensor technology and training on robotic systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Electrical Installer, Mechatronics Technician, or similar qualification, supplemented by further training as an Electrical Technician or PLC Technician.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in industrial maintenance or electrical operations
  • Practical experience with PLC systems including S5, S7, and Beckhoff IPC
  • Experience in metallization and wet chemistry plant environments is highly preferred
  • Proven experience in maintaining production line electronic and pneumatic systems
