Job Summary
In this multifaceted role at agmadata GmbH, you will be responsible for both internal IT infrastructure and external technical client projects within the food production industry. Your daily activities involve administering Windows client and server systems, managing Active Directory and group policies, and ensuring network stability across switches and WLAN. You will also oversee the company's proprietary ERP software, iFood, and its underlying InterSystems IRIS database. A unique aspect of this position is the blend of internal support and client-facing consultancy, where you will calculate hardware requirements for offers, perform on-site installations of industrial hardware like IPCs and scales, and provide first- and second-level support. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of technical administration and customer interaction, offering the chance to work in a stable yet innovative environment that digitizes the food supply chain from farm to fork.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronician, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the administration of Windows systems, networks, and Active Directory.
- Experience in supporting standard software solutions and telephony systems.
- Practical experience in technical customer support and hardware installation.
- Basic knowledge of database systems, preferably InterSystems IRIS.
- Experience in the food or feed industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
