Job Summary
As a Data Warehouse Administrator at ivv GmbH, you will be responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, and operation of complex data warehouse environments within a regulated financial services framework (VAIT, DORA). Your day-to-day activities involve managing MS SQL database servers, Windows and Linux server environments, and administering the Informatica ETL toolset alongside IBM Cognos BI solutions. You will play a pivotal role in the entire lifecycle of the DWH landscape, from installation and configuration to release management and second-level support. This position is unique for its blend of operational stability and project-based evolution, offering the chance to act as a technical expert in planning and conceptual phases. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable vocational qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in operating complex IT landscapes or software development
- Proven experience with MS SQL database servers and Windows-based systems
- Experience with ETL tools (specifically Informatica) and BI products (specifically IBM Cognos) is highly preferred
- Experience working within regulated environments (VAIT, DORA) is beneficial
- Professional background in structured project work and technical conceptualization

- Willingness to participate in occasional on-call duty and weekend work (approximately twice per year). Must be able to work in a hybrid model with 60% home office.
