Job Summary

As an IT System Administrator at Klinikum Crailsheim, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and advancing the digital infrastructure of a growing healthcare facility with over 700 employees. Your daily responsibilities will span across system administration, network security, and application management. You will be responsible for implementing and configuring two-stage firewall systems, managing Hyper-V virtualization environments, and overseeing SAN storage and backup solutions. A significant portion of the role involves supporting the Hospital Information System (KIS), customizing administrative applications, and leading IT projects from planning to documentation. Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Medical) Informatics, vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Experience in virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.
  • Practical knowledge of network and firewall systems like FortiGate or WatchGuard.
  • Proven experience in coordinating with external IT service providers and manufacturers.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, implementation, and documentation of software solutions.
