Job Summary
As an Energy Data Manager, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of a grid operator and metering point operator. Your primary focus involves the continuous monitoring and optimization of Energy Data Management (EDM) processes, including daily and monthly balancing, MSCONS data transmission, and the management of balancing groups. You will be responsible for analyzing energy flows, generating forecasts for renewable energy (EEG/KWK), and ensuring compliance with German market regulations such as GPKE, GeLi Gas, and MABIS. Beyond routine operations, you will lead projects related to ISMS certifications and Redispatch 2.0. This position is ideal for analytical professionals who enjoy working with large datasets and want to contribute to the future of energy and water supply. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, Electrical Technician, or a degree in Business Administration with a technical background; or a comparable qualification with relevant experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the energy industry environment is preferred.
- Experience in managing energy data processes and market communication.
- Experience with technical or commercial projects such as ISMS or Redispatch 2.0.
- Entry-level candidates (fresh graduates or career changers) are explicitly welcome.
