Job Summary

As a Product Safety Chemist at Klüber Lubrication, you will play a vital role in ensuring global chemical compliance for a leading manufacturer of specialty lubricants. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the classification and evaluation of products and raw materials in accordance with hazardous substance and dangerous goods regulations. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining safety data sheets (SDS) and operating instructions for the global Klüber Group, ensuring all data remains current within the SAP-EHS system. Beyond administrative compliance, you will actively monitor international chemical legislation, contribute to process improvement projects, and conduct workshops to share your expertise with colleagues. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Chemistry or another natural science discipline, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Chemical Compliance or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the classification and evaluation of chemical products and raw materials.
  • Practical knowledge of international chemical legislation (e.g., REACH, CLP, UN-GHS).
  • Experience using SAP-EHS for data maintenance is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in conducting technical training or workshops.
