Job Summary

This role involves managing and overseeing the pre-analytical laboratory operations for clinical studies at a renowned international contract research organization specializing in metabolic diseases. Based in Neuss, you will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of clinical trials according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. Day-to-day tasks include acting as the primary point of contact for CRO and CRU interfaces, creating laboratory-specific study documents, and ensuring the availability of critical equipment and materials. You will coordinate the shipment of biological samples (IATA), monitor temperature-sensitive storage, and manage deviations through CAPA processes. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Natural Sciences (Bachelor or Master), or completed vocational training as a Medical Laboratory Assistant (MTLA/MTA) or Biological Laboratory Assistant (BTA).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience as an MTLA, MTA, or BTA
  • Practical experience in biological sample processing and shipping
  • Proven experience handling laboratory-specific equipment such as centrifuges and pipettes
  • Initial experience in the execution of clinical trials is highly desirable
  • Experience in creating and revising laboratory-relevant study documents and forms
