Job Summary
As the Head of IT at HOWOGE, one of Germany's largest municipal housing companies, you will lead the strategic development and transformation of the entire information technology department. Your daily responsibilities include managing a large-scale IT organization, overseeing infrastructure, storage, support, and SAP systems, and ensuring a stable, secure IT landscape. You will act as a key driver for digitalization projects, aligning IT strategy with the needs of management, tenants, and over 1,400 employees. This role is highly impactful, involving the management of external service providers, budget planning, and the implementation of Industry 4.0 approaches within the housing sector. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification, supplemented by relevant further training.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the IT sector
- Proven leadership experience in a management capacity
- Extensive experience in managing IT processes and large-scale transformation projects
- Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies such as SCRUM or PRINCE2
- Experience in managing external IT service providers and contract negotiations
