Job Summary

As a Lead Software Developer, you will spearhead the technical direction and evolution of a custom-built identity and security platform utilized across more than 150 global sites. Your daily responsibilities involve designing and developing cloud-native services, translating complex security requirements into robust architectures, and leading the implementation of high-quality software components. You will work in a modern, cloud-native ecosystem featuring Kubernetes and GitOps, collaborating closely with a dedicated Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to ensure operational excellence. This role is unique because it allows you to focus deeply on building secure, scalable software while mentoring a team of engineers and driving best practices like CI/CD and secure-by-design principles. It offers the chance to work with a diverse tech stack including streaming and observability tools within a global science and technology leader.
