Job Summary

As a Sensor Technology Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative sensor concepts for switchgear systems. Your daily responsibilities will involve developing methods to capture critical plant parameters such as pressure, temperature, voltage, and current, and integrating these sensors with Remote Terminal Units (RTUs). You will also be tasked with creating motor control concepts and utilizing digital information to manage gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). A significant portion of the role focuses on planning and executing rigorous test concepts to validate functional limits and ensure system reliability. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Measurement Technology, Digital Technology, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in sensor development and integration for industrial applications
  • Proven expertise in electrical measurement of plant states and parameters
  • Experience in developing control concepts for motors within switchgear environments
  • Practical experience with simulation tools like LTSpice, PSpice, or MATLAB/SIMULINK
  • Experience working with agile development methods and digital data analysis is preferred
