Job Summary

As an Electrical Development Engineer at FERCHAU, you will play a pivotal role in the conceptualization and development of energy technology products. Your daily responsibilities include designing systems according to customer specifications and international standards such as IEC 61439 and IEC 62271. You will be responsible for selecting and dimensioning electrical components, creating technical documentation using EPLAN, and providing technical support through to on-site commissioning. This role requires close coordination with internal departments and external partners to ensure project deadlines are met. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification (e.g., further training as a certified Technician or Master Craftsman).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in planning, development, and design within the energy technology sector
  • Proven experience working with voltages up to 36 kV, specifically in secondary technology
  • Experience in dealing with energy utility companies
  • Practical experience in technical documentation and project coordination through to commissioning
