Job Summary
This role involves working within the ISO 17025 accredited laboratory of GODIPLAST GmbH in Saarbrücken, a medium-sized company specializing in plastic raw materials, compounds, and masterbatches. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of thermal, rheological, analytical, and mechanical tests on plastic materials. Your duties include preparing reference samples and test specimens, calibrating measuring and testing equipment, and meticulously documenting results. Depending on your level of qualification, you may also evaluate measurement data and take on additional organizational responsibilities. This position is particularly attractive because it offers a permanent contract with no shift work, flexible working hours (flextime), and a collaborative environment with flat hierarchies. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester, Physics Laboratory Technician, Chemical Laboratory Technician, or Plastics Technology Technician (or a comparable qualification).
Experience
- Professional experience in a laboratory environment or material testing
- Experience in performing thermal, rheological, and mechanical tests
- Experience with documentation of technical results and data evaluation
- Experience working within an accredited quality management system (ISO 17025)
