Job Summary
This role involves leading the Road Planning team for a growth-oriented infrastructure service provider in the western Ruhr area. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for the technical and organizational management of a small team, overseeing the planning and construction of municipal traffic infrastructure including roads, bridges, cycle paths, and public transport stops. Your daily activities will range from basic evaluations and design planning to project management and the coordination of external engineering firms across HOAI phases 1-7. You will act as a key liaison between internal departments, authorities, and planning offices to ensure technical standards are met. This position is ideal for a professional looking to combine technical expertise in civil engineering with leadership responsibilities. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Infrastructure Management, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in road planning, road construction, or traffic infrastructure planning.
- Experience in planning infrastructure projects for either the public or private sector.
- Proven experience in project steering and the coordination of external engineering service providers.
- Leadership experience or the capacity to lead, motivate, and develop a technical team.
