Job Summary

As a Senior Specialist Application Administration, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing critical Requirements Management (RM) applications, specifically IBM DOORS and Siemens Polarion. Your daily responsibilities include acting as a key interface for RM and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) across various corporate entities, providing expert consultancy for integrating these tools with PLM and ALM systems like Siemens Teamcenter and the Atlassian toolchain. You will be responsible for defining service offerings, ensuring compliance with corporate IT guidelines, and driving engineering automation. The role involves leading IT projects, managing both internal staff and external service providers, and integrating RM systems into CI/CD pipelines. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the administration and customizing of Requirements Management systems
  • Proven experience in Requirements Engineering and product development processes
  • Experience in agile IT project roles such as Implementer, Product Owner, or Solution Architect
  • Experience in implementing MBSE concepts is highly desirable
  • Experience in steering internal employees and external service providers during IT projects
