This role involves working at the heart of the Schleswig-Holstein State Nature Conservation Association (LNV) in Kiel, serving as a vital link between environmental policy and practical conservation. As a Scientific Officer, you will be responsible for drafting technical statements regarding nature conservation permits, approval procedures, and urban development planning. You will manage the participation rights of member associations, ensuring their voices are heard in legislative and regional planning processes. The day-to-day work includes maintaining close contact with volunteers, representing the association in specialist committees, and supporting the management with event organization and public relations. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Ecology, Landscape Management, Geography, Agroecology, or a comparable field of study.
