Job Summary
This role is for a motivated Flight Test Instrumentation Specialist to join exciting projects with Airbus Helicopters. The specialist will be responsible for the instrumentation and cabling of test helicopters, including the assembly and installation of measurement systems, and the attachment and calibration of sensors, such as strain gauges. They will also provide support for measurement systems during flight operations, both on-site and during external, sometimes international, campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering or a related field, with several years of professional experience in areas like automotive, IT, aerospace, or measurement technology. Strong proficiency in both German and English is essential for this position.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification, OR completed advanced training as a Master/Technician in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- Over three years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Automotive/Vehicle Manufacturing, IT/Information Systems, Aerospace, Aviation Mechanics, Measurement Technology, Technical Documentation, Technical Administration
- Several years of professional experience with analog sensors and their acquisition
- Several years of professional experience with test systems
