Job Summary

This role involves managing and resolving obsolescence cases for Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) components at a renowned company in Heilbronn. As an Electrical or Mechatronics Technician, you will work closely with development, quality assurance, and purchasing departments to establish and maintain a systematic obsolescence risk management system. Your daily responsibilities include monitoring component lifecycles using database tools, defining countermeasures for discontinued parts, and preparing detailed reports for management and clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape company-wide obsolescence strategies within the defense and aerospace sectors. The role is attractive due to its hybrid work options after initial training, a competitive salary range of €65,000 - €75,000 per year, and the potential for permanent takeover following the initial placement.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field; ideally with further qualification as a State-Certified Technician or a university degree.

Experience

  • Professional experience in obsolescence management for EEE components
  • Extensive experience in lifecycle management and relevant standards for the defense or aerospace industries
  • Proven experience using SAP and digital tools for component tracking
  • Experience in creating technical reports and decision-making documents for management
