Job Summary
As the IT Department Manager for a medium-sized aerospace firm in the Chemnitz region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of an innovation-driven organization. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading the IT team, managing the entire IT infrastructure, and overseeing system availability and security. You will act as the central point of contact for internal departments and external service providers, ensuring that SAP-supported end-to-end processes are optimized for international scalability. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik) or a completed vocational training with significant professional experience in IT management.
Experience
- Professional leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a technical team
- Extensive experience as an IT Administrator or IT Manager, ideally within a medium-sized manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in managing SAP-based end-to-end processes
- Experience in managing external IT service providers and complex IT projects
- International or intercultural experience is considered an advantage
