Job Summary

This role involves the design and development of complex tooling and assembly fixtures for high-profile aerospace products, specifically helicopters and aircraft doors. Working for a renowned international aerospace leader in Donauwörth, you will be responsible for creating concepts and specifications for external procurement, managing external design service providers, and acting as a Technical Project Lead. Your daily tasks include technical interface management with suppliers, conducting market analyses for the latest manufacturing processes, and validating construction datasets. This position is unique as it offers a long-term perspective through initial labor leasing with a clear path to permanent employment. You will work at the cutting edge of aerospace technology, ensuring that all tools meet certification and calibration standards while balancing technical excellence with 'Design to Cost' principles. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Industrial Engineering; alternatively, qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Technical Business Administrator.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in engineering, production, construction, or project management
  • Extensive multi-year experience in the design of fixtures and tools specifically for composite manufacturing
  • Proven experience in manufacturing composite components
  • Demonstrated experience using Catia V5 and SAP systems
  • Substantial experience in technical project leadership and supplier coordination
