Job Summary
As a Software Engineer at LHY Powertrain, you will play a critical role in expanding the company's position as a system provider for mobile machinery. You will be responsible for developing embedded software platforms for automotive systems used in construction, agricultural, and municipal vehicles. Your daily work involves designing functional software components using Matlab/Simulink, developing platform tools in C/C++ and Python, and performing functional component tests in MiL and HiL environments. A key focus of the role is ensuring compliance with functional safety standards like ISO 13849. This position is particularly attractive for engineers who enjoy working on complex real-time systems that control hydraulic pumps, motors, and diesel engines. You will collaborate closely with international development partners, making this a dynamic role for those who enjoy technical discussions and structured project management in a customer-oriented environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in a relevant engineering or technical field.
Experience
- 5 or more years of professional experience in software development and testing
- Professional experience in a customer-oriented project environment
- Experience in developing embedded software platforms according to safety standards
- Proven experience in independent planning and management of work packages
- Experience in technical documentation and international collaboration
