Job Summary
As a Senior Cloud Engineer at KHS, a global leader in beverage and food packaging technology, you will be responsible for the secure and stable operation of a complex cloud and hybrid system landscape. Working within an international IT team, your daily activities will involve the configuration and administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure services, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and the Power Platform. You will play a critical role in advancing identity management through Entra ID and implementing robust security frameworks using the Microsoft Defender Suite and Zero Trust architectures. A key focus of the position is the automation of operational processes using PowerShell and Azure CLI to enhance efficiency. This role is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys combining hands-on administration with strategic security implementation. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed university degree (preferably in Business Informatics or similar) or completed vocational training in the IT field. Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MS-102, SC-300, SC-401) are an advantage.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in Microsoft-based cloud environments within a corporate context
- Extensive experience in the administration of M365, Azure, and hybrid identity solutions
- Practical experience with modern cloud security approaches, specifically Zero Trust and MFA
- Experience with automation tools and scripting for operational workflows
- Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and infrastructure standards
Languages
Additional
- The role is based in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia. Knowledge of antivirus solutions in cloud environments is preferred. Must be able to work within international team structures.
