As the Deputy Head of Department, you will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary representation of the department head, ensuring the quality monitoring of raw and drinking water in compliance with legal standards. Your daily activities will include providing expert consultation to clients regarding microbiological water analysis (specifically focusing on Legionella), overseeing the central laboratory, and acting as a vital interface between the laboratory, field staff, and other internal departments. You will also contribute to the establishment of new biological processes in environmental microbiology.
