Job Summary

As an NDT Inspector specializing in railway infrastructure, you will perform critical non-destructive testing on rails, switches, and welded joints. Your daily responsibilities include conducting Ultrasonic (UT) and Eddy Current (ET) testing in the field, alongside visual inspections (VT) and basic measurement tasks. You will be responsible for evaluating and documenting test results according to established standards and customer specifications, while also supporting site coordination and test planning. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working independently on-site across various national and occasionally international locations. Required Skills

Education

Completed Level 2 NDT Qualification (according to DIN EN ISO 9712) in UT and/or ET methods.

Experience

  • Professional experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) specifically using UT and ET methods
  • Experience in rail inspection (IrI) is highly advantageous
  • Proven track record of working independently on construction sites or rail tracks
  • Experience in evaluating and documenting test results according to industry standards
  • Experience in site coordination and test planning support
