Job Summary
As an IT Security Manager at Bayerische Staatsforsten, one of Europe's largest forestry enterprises, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the digital infrastructure of a company dedicated to sustainable forest management and climate protection. Based in Munich or Regensburg, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT security policies and processes. Your daily activities will include coordinating security measures, conducting risk analyses and vulnerability assessments, and managing security incidents. You will also lead internal and external audits and provide security awareness training to over 2,500 employees. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field with a focus on IT Security; alternatively, completed IT vocational training with extensive professional experience and relevant security qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of IT security, information security, or IT compliance
- Practical experience in incident, risk, and vulnerability management
- Experience in planning and supporting internal and external IT security audits
- Proven track record in developing and implementing IT security guidelines
- Long-term relevant professional experience required if applying with a vocational background instead of a degree
