Job Summary
This role involves serving as a Curator and Artistic Co-Director for the "Theater" division, which is slated for significant expansion in 2026/2027. As a member of the Core Collective, you will share responsibility for the entire operation of the cultural association, covering artistic, administrative, and front-line duties. The organization is dedicated to socio-cultural and societal themes, with a current strategic focus on the Arab world and the Global South. The ideal candidate must be deeply passionate about various cultural forms, possess a strong international network in theater and performance, and identify strongly with the association's values. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a self-governed, non-hierarchical team, offering flexible hours, home office options, and the chance to conceive and realize your own innovative cultural formats while balancing the role with personal artistic projects.
Required Skills
Education
Completed Master's degree (preferably from an Art Academy)
Experience
- Demonstrable professional experience in cultural work (on or off stage)
- Establishing and maintaining an international network in the culture sector, specifically focusing on Theater and Performance
- Experience managing artistic and administrative operations for cultural projects
Languages
Additional
- Identification with the association's values and cultural strategy (focus on socio-cultural/societal themes and the Global South)
- Flexibility and willingness to work outside regular hours
- Fluency in a language from the Global South (written and spoken, preferably Arabic)
