This role involves the comprehensive management of the technical infrastructure for the historic Parkhotel Kurhaus, a traditional hotel dating back to 1913. As the Technical Director, you will oversee building, operational, safety, and energy systems to ensure a seamless guest experience. Your daily responsibilities include leading the maintenance team, coordinating with external contractors, and managing large-scale modernization projects. You will work closely with hotel management to implement sustainability strategies and analyze energy consumption. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Electrician, Plant Mechanic) preferably with further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in a technical trade such as Electrical or Plant Mechanics
- Several years of proven leadership experience in a comparable position, ideally within the hotel industry or large building complexes
- Extensive experience in managing HVAC and electrical technical systems
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating external service providers and craftsmen
- Experience in documenting and ensuring compliance with safety, fire, and environmental regulations
