Job Summary

This role involves the development and optimization of propulsion systems for both internal combustion engines and battery electric vehicles at BMW AG in Munich. As a Technical Regulatory Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicle homologation in compliance with international regulations and standards. Your day-to-day activities will include coordinating test field activities, planning comprehensive tests, and analyzing results to ensure technical compliance. You will act as a key liaison, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to implement complex development projects. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in drivetrain development for internal combustion engines and battery electric vehicles
  • Demonstrated experience in performing data analysis using tools such as MATLAB or Python
  • Practical experience with simulation software such as Simulink
  • Proven background in test field organization and test management
  • Experience in ensuring homologation according to international standards
