This role involves the independent planning of municipal road construction projects within the Parks and Civil Engineering Office in Pforzheim. You will be responsible for road design and traffic area planning up to HOAI service phase 5, covering everything from motor vehicle lanes and cycling infrastructure to pedestrian crossings and public transport stops. A major focus of the position is creating future-oriented, barrier-free, and environmentally friendly infrastructure aligned with the Integrated Mobility Development Plan (IMEP). Beyond technical design, you will manage projects, oversee external engineering firms, and collaborate with the Urban Planning Office on development plans. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning of traffic facilities is desirable but not mandatory
  • Experience in managing external engineering offices up to HOAI phase 5
  • Experience in independent planning of municipal construction measures
  • For candidates without a degree: several years of professional experience as a technician in independent road planning
