Job Summary
As an Embedded Systems Engineer in the pre-development department, you will play a pivotal role in transforming innovative ideas into functional product concepts. Your daily responsibilities include developing embedded software in C/C++ for prototypes, controlling solenoid valves and sensors, and designing control algorithms. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, performing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical tests while collaborating closely with sales, R&D, and external partners. This role is unique for its focus on pre-development and innovation, allowing you to shape the future of fluid technology and electromagnetic valve control. You will be responsible for creating technical specifications, managing requirements, and supporting EMC testing and validation processes. The position offers a central role in a small, interdisclipinary team within a 'Hidden Champion' company, providing a balance of technical depth and cross-functional coordination.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in product management of electrotechnical products
- Extensive experience in embedded software development using C/C++
- Proven experience in controlling actuators, sensors, or similar embedded systems
- Experience in coordinating with external electronics developers and managing external development contracts
- Practical experience using laboratory measurement and testing equipment
