Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer and Service Engineer within the e-Mobility division, you will play a vital role in supporting new projects for Mercedes at their Stuttgart location. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the independent processing and execution of service orders, with a specific focus on control technology hardware and software. You will be tasked with conceptualizing control systems according to customer specifications while ensuring strict adherence to costs and deadlines. Beyond technical execution, you will act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining customer relationships and assisting in the acquisition of service contracts. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in programming and commissioning PLC controllers and peripheral equipment
- Professional experience in the automotive industry, special purpose machinery, or e-mobility sectors
- Proven experience with robot integration for assembly and testing systems
- Demonstrated expertise in Mercedes Powertrain standards for electrical and control technology
