Job Summary

This role involves managing construction and maintenance projects for the District of Middle Franconia, specifically focusing on a diverse portfolio of buildings, including historical and listed structures. As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day project management of maintenance, renovation, and smaller new construction projects. This includes coordinating building upkeep, overseeing projects outsourced to freelancers, and contributing to planning phases in accordance with HOAI standards. The position is based in Ansbach and Nuremberg, offering a high degree of autonomy within a collaborative team environment. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) specializing in Civil Engineering, or equivalent professional experience/qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the coordination, project management, and control of maintenance and renovation projects
  • Experience in managing small-scale new construction measures
  • Practical experience in applying German building and procurement laws (VOB, HOAI, etc.)
  • Experience in project steering for tasks assigned to external freelance professionals
