Job Summary
As a Terminal Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of approximately ten professionals to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a tank farm facility. This hands-on role bridges the gap between operational management and technical execution, requiring you to actively participate in plant operations while coordinating shift activities. You will be responsible for overseeing product handling, managing internal staff and external contractors, and ensuring compliance with all legal and safety regulations. A significant portion of your day involves the technical monitoring and control of tank truck loading processes, as well as performing maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systems. This position is ideal for a technical expert who enjoys a mix of leadership, practical craftsmanship, and problem-solving in an industrial environment. The role offers a permanent full-time contract and the opportunity to work closely with complex infrastructure where safety and quality are the highest priorities.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in electrical engineering (e.g., Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Electrician) or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, specifically in plant operations, maintenance, or production
- Proven experience in the safe handling of technical systems and structured troubleshooting
- Experience in leading and coordinating personnel and external contractors within a shift system
- Practical experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair

- Willingness to work in shifts; ability to work outdoors (approx. 30% of the time); must be comfortable working at heights (freedom from vertigo); permanent full-time availability required.
