Job Summary

As a Digitalization Specialist for the City of Offenbach's Regulatory Office, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing public administration. Your day-to-day responsibilities include planning, controlling, and implementing process digitalization to create a paperless environment for citizen services. You will serve as the primary internal contact for software-related issues, manage relationships with external software providers, and participate in strategic working groups focused on administrative digitalization. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in IT, Administrative Informatics, Digital Management, Business Informatics, or Public Administration. Alternatively, vocational training as an IT Systems Manager, Digitalization Management Assistant, or IT Specialist combined with several years of relevant experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT, project management, or process management
  • Experience in administrative digitalization or public sector IT is preferred
  • Several years of relevant professional experience required if applying with a vocational training background instead of a degree
  • Proven experience in organizational design and operational workflows
