Job Summary
This role is based at the Otto Diels Institute for Organic Chemistry at Kiel University, where the successful candidate will manage mass spectrometry operations and analytical instrumentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing mass spectrometric measurements—including high-resolution mass and GC/HPLC-MS couplings—as well as developing and maintaining measurement methods. A significant portion of the role involves the technical upkeep, modification, and repair of spectroscopic equipment, alongside organizing device training for others. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Chemical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
Experience

- Experience in organizing laboratory operations and conducting equipment training
- Demonstrated experience in the chemical interpretation of analytical measurement results
